Instagram Shares Likes with Facebook in New Update
by Dan Osburn
Instagram recently released its first big update since the social mobile network was bought up by Facebook. The update includes a nice UI polish and a few new features that make the app even more social and searchable than ever before.
The most interesting addition is the ability to share Likes back to Facebook. Users who like sharing their Instagram photos with Facebook friends will no doubt enjoy seeing those Likes collating, as will brands who use Instagram for marketing purposes.
At Jam, we see this as the first step towards a deeper, richer integration between the two social mobile networks.
Also new is the “Explore” tab - which lets users easily search out friends, easily track hashtags and has dramatically improved the commenting system.
If you’d like simple instruction on how to link up your Facebook and Instagram accounts, Lifehacker has got you covered.
