EyeEm is a brilliant new-ish social mobile photography app in the vein of Instagram.

Like Instagram, EyeEm is focused on creating and sharing mobile photography within the EyeEm network and your other social networks.

However, EyeEm has several features that really refine the social mobile photography experience.

The first thing that strikes you when using EyeEm for the first time is just how gorgeous it is. The pops of colour, the fluidity of the animations, the overall speed of the app just beg you to play with it.

When you upload a photo to EyeEm, there’s an autotag feature that suggests labels for your photos based on where they were taken.

The more you upload to EyeEm, the more you can “explore” other photos with action and location tags similar to your own.

The auto-tag feature also makes it easier to find what you’re looking for.

EyeEm is trying to intelligently connect you to content that you will like - not necessarily to other users.
