Sky gets Gamified on Facebook with Watch.Share.Win
Sky and Jam launched the Watch.Share.Win app on Sky’s Facebook page last week to encourage fans to share their favourite Sky shows with their fans.
At the heart of the app is a simple but addictive game that encourages fans to watch exclusive trailers and behind-the-scenes content from their favourite Sky programmes and share them with their friends on Facebook. Players earn points to win prizes including iMac computers and a 3D home entertainment system for each clip they watch (50 points) and share (100 points). To keep things interesting, everyone who uses the app will be entered into a weekly draw to win an iPad 2.
The app is the latest in on-going social media work for Sky. Previously, Jam worked on the What’s On Sky campaign that broadcast promoted tweets with the hashtag #whatsonsky on digital billboards in commuter stations across the UK.
