Bound by a love of photography and inspired by the work of Dizzee Rascal, 26 of London’s top bloggers descended upon Jam HQ on Saturday 4 June to take part in the Bing #yourbritain Blogger Outreach Event.

Their mission; to increase their photography nous thanks to an action-packed, interactive hour-long masterclass with British Professional Photographer of the Year (2005) Jackie King before hitting the streets of London to capture their best visual interpretations of ‘Your Britain’.

A high-pressure, three-hour window of activity ensued, with teams of bloggers spread out around the city, their action curated live within Storify – see below.

Cupcakes, bespoke hashtag bunting, retro bus-blind inspired postcards and an overarching message to ‘Keep Calm and Snap On’ further enhanced the feel of Your Britain.

Emulating the larger Your Britain competition currently being run by search engine Bing, the event resulted in the following winning photographs, as selected by the esteemed judging panel of Jackie King, Bing UK homepage editor Al McNamara and photography blogger (Jam-mer and of no relation to Al) David McNamara.
