Monster cakes for Comic Relief
Charlie and I represented Jam in Engine’s Comic Relief Monster Bake-Off today.
Even though we didn’t place, we had a lot of fun making it and you can check out our mighty monster-shaped gateau below. The competition was judged by Guardian food writer Tim Hayward alongside everyone at Engine who was invited to vote.
Slices of the cake were then sold at the Engine bar for £1!
All in all, it was a lot of fun – BIG THANKS to Super Punch whose monster design we followed and Omnomicon for tips on making a fabulous rainbow cake.
